With a fearless enthusiasm for wildlife and a passion for the great outdoors, eleven-year-old Aaron Jacques takes viewers into thrilling small animal expeditions in his own backyard -- the Southern California offshore islands -- in the half hour original weekly series Critters with Aaron Jacques. The audience follows Aaron on his journeys in the ocean, on the islands, and even in deep ancient sea caves as he tracks down critters large and small.

Each high-energy journey involves viewers as they feel themselves drawn into the thrilling curiosity of the specific island or geographical area being concentrated on. The offshore islands lend themselves to rare and semi-extinct breeds of all shapes and sizes of critters. Although aimed primarily towards young children, Aaron is brave and well versed in the handling of these critters, and his enthusiasm and knowledge of the various species and legends fascinates and entertains viewers of all ages.
