Wedding Planning With the Click of a Mouse

With this year's wedding season now getting underway, many soon-to-be-married couples are glued to the internet, busily planning the final details of the biggest day of their lives. With the help of SuperWeddings.com, a new website devoted to the subject of weddings, brides and grooms-to-be are finding the information and inspiration needed for perfect planning, with the click of a mouse.

The site, described as a free online wedding planning guide and ezine, offers a feast of creative planning ideas and expert advice on weddings.

Visitors to the site can also put their own wedding related questions to an online wedding expert, free of charge. SuperWeddings.com creator and editor Linda Kevich, a professional wedding consultant who has been helping couples plan the weddings of their dreams for ten years, says her Ask the Expert feature is proving to be very popular. "At first we expected to be fielding questions mainly from brides, but as it turns out, it's not just the brides who have questions about weddings", says Kevich. "Every week we answer questions from wedding guests, grooms, parents of the bride or groom, co-workers of people who are getting married, bridal party attendants, you name it. Although we live in a society which gravitates towards becoming less formal all the time, weddings continue to be very
important formal social events in our culture. That results in a great deal of concern about doing what is considered to be proper".

Visitors to the site enjoy the practical approach it offers to wedding planning. While some couples today may be spending $50,000 to $100,000 on the weddings of their dreams, says Kevich, the average bride in 1999 spent just under $20,000. "SuperWeddings.com offers realistic but
highly creative approaches for ordinary people to produce extraordinary weddings. The site shows them how to make it more meaningful, and more memorable. It doesn't necessarily take a lot of money to do that. The bride who has a huge budget can hire a wedding consultant; the bride who doesn't
can turn to SuperWeddings.com".

"I love this site", says Kristen of Hastings, Nebraska who used the site to
help plan her wedding which took place last month, "It has so many awesome ideas that I've never heard of before".

Kevich adds that SuperWeddings has been receiving a lot of positive feedback from wedding consultants as well. "They email to tell me that they turn to SuperWeddings.com as a source of ideas for the weddings they
work on. That's very gratifying to someone like myself who genuinely loves weddings and the industry as a whole".

From SuperWeddings.com, visitors can also subscribe to a free email newsletter, devoted to the topic of planning weddings. "We pack a lot of additional information about weddings into the newsletter", Kevich explains. "Feedback has been extremely strong". For more information, visit http://www.superweddings.com
