Access scoops award for 'highly commended' company

Access Accounting Ltd has landed a 'highly commended award for innovation and excellence in the Countywide Millennium Business Awards 2000.

The award sponsored by Barclays Bank was one of only 13 awards presented from an initial short list of 500 entrants.

BCIF, Business Communications Into The Future, who judged the category were so impressed after visiting Access head office in Colchester that they are also presenting a special award to the company shortly.

Managing Director Alistair OReilly said, This is another major success for the Access team. I am so proud of our staff -- this is their award, they have won it. As the saying goes 'talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. At Access we practice the Bill Gates concept of 'business at the speed of thought. While our competitors are ferociously importing software from abroad, we are developing, designing and producing all our software in the UK."
