SeaWorld Orlando Names "Preferred" Hotel

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Sheraton World Resort on International Drive has been named a preferred hotel" by SeaWorld Orlando.
The Sheraton World Resort, set on 28 lush acres, is adjacent to SeaWorld. Guests may walk to the theme park on a private path that leads from the hotel to SeaWorld.
As a preferred" hotel, the Sheraton World offers guests a special SeaWorld Adventure Package, featuring two nights of hotel accommodations plus two admission tickets to SeaWorld. The package rates are only $254, plus tax, for double occupancy. Up to four people may stay in the room on existing bedding.
When the newest Anheuser Busch Adventur Park, the much-anticipated Discovery Cove, opens on July 1, the Sheraton will be offering the Discovery Cove Adventure Package. This package will include two nights hotel accommodations, plus -
two reserved dolphin swim experiences;
unlimited access to the Coral Reef, Ray Lagoon, Resort Pool, Tropical River and Aviary; A meal for two; complimentary parking; use of snorkel equipment, wet suits, towels and lockers, and, two seven-consecutive-day passes for unlimited admission to SeaWorld.
The package rate for all this is $556, plus tax, based on double occupancy.

This arrangement with SeaWorld is a coup for our guests and for SeaWorld visitors who need a close, convenient and enjoyable place to stay," noted Sheraton World General Manager Keith Wolling. The Sheraton World features 789 newly renovated resort rooms, with 305 new Tower rooms scheduled for completion in late July. Each room features refrigerators, coffeemakers, cable television and telephones with data ports for email and Internet acccess.
Also featured are three swimming pools, a kiddie pool, whirlpool, playground, video arcade and miniature golf course. For dining, guests have the choice of the hotels charming Blue Marlin restaurant plus Maxs Deli for a quick meal. And, Coconuts Lounge is open seven days a week, as is the poolside tiki bar.
Along with the new Tower, which features its own meeting rooms for conferences, the hotel also has renovated and enlarged its East Conference Center. The new Center features all new carpeting, upscale lighting and accouterments, as well as a stunning new 10,000-square-foot grand ballroom that can be divided into four smaller rooms. These new facilities bring the hotels total meeting space to 55,000 square feet.
