The Ink Well, a commercial printing and mailing company, announced today, that it was awarded the Business of the Year Award" by the Wheaton A.M. Rotary International Club. The award was presented on June 28, 2000 at the annual Rotary installation and dinner.

This prestigious honor is presented annually to an outstanding business that contributes above and beyond to the community and exhibits the values and ethics of Rotary International. The Ink Well was selected for its contribution to the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, the Naperville Chamber of Commerce, School Districts 200 and 204, the Community Career Center in Naperville, youth sports in Naperville and other community service. The Ink Well was also cited for its ongoing commitment to employees and its continuous effort to give back to the community, all in the spirit of rotary values.

According to president and owner, Al Lautenslager, We are pleased to win this award, which helps substantiate our place in the community. It also helps us celebrate our 5 years in business this year. We are honored and touched at such an award and proud of our employees and our contributions."

As Tony Guerra of the Rotary International stated during his presentation of the award, Wheaton is lucky to have a business like The Ink Well and lucky to receive the contributions made by this company. It was a unanimous decision to award this to The Ink Well."

The Ink Well is a perennial award winning printing company having received recognition for printing excellence, community spirit, business growth and management.

The Ink Well was named as one of the top ten commercial printers in DuPage County and is a past finalist for the Naperville Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award. This is in addition to a 1998 nomination by Ernst and Young as Entrepreneur of the Year. . Founded in 1995, The Ink Well is a privately held, commercial printing and mailing company in Wheaton, IL, a DuPage County suburb of the greater Chicagoland area. They specialize in newsletters, business forms, marketing and promotional materials as well as the printing that is used in everyday business communication. E-commerce can now be added to that list.
