The 3rd Annual trail ride event is off to a great start with a great line-up! Eleven of the nations top trainers will be on hand for a week of clinics, trail rides, special activities and entertainment. Richard Shrake, Pat Parelli, Lynn Palm, Clinton Anderson, R.E. Josey, Martha Josey, GaWaNi Pony Boy and Barbara Schulte are this years featured trainers and we are proud to present three special guest clinicians, Shawna and Vinton Karrasch and well-known trick horse trainer, Carol Fletcher!
This event is absolutely the most fun horse owners can have with their horses. Trainers are present for the entire week and are completely accessible to riders. Each trainer conducts a two-hour clinic each day and participates in one of two daily organized trail rides. When not in clinics, trainers circulate and assist riders with individual problems or concerns. This is simply the best access to the nations top trainers horse owners will ever have short of private lessons – and some of our trainers even offer private lessons at the event!
The trails cover 5,100 acres of beautiful Ozark mountain land, crossing crystal clear streams, massive bluffs, and beautiful pastureland. Trails are well marked, and both beginners and advanced trail riders will find just the right trail.
This years special activities feature cattle drives, team penning, obstacle course competition and a fun horse show. All riders may participate and compete with our trainers and guest clinicians. Evening events are opened by the wonderful music of the Sons of Tennessee performing on three Palomino horses, and demonstrations by Carol Fletcher and her beautiful Paint trick horse.
