PhotoAlto presents the eye - a new photo catalogue concept

Paris, France. PhotoAlto, the French royalty-free photo-library, announces the launch this October of its new catalogue, the eye, in keeping with its usual editorial policy – each CD-ROM contains one photographers work on a specific theme.

PhotoAltos the eye is full of colours and surprises, and as usual is the result of an abounding creativity which is in constant evolution. It guarantees all graphic designers and art directors a wide iconographical panel covering themes such as the family, senior citizens, business, beauty, animated textures and backgrounds and culinary ingredients, which, as always, are photographed through the im-pertinent eye of the PhotoAlto photographers.

This 176-pages catalogue is divided in two parts, one gallery illustrating the photographic trends and 70 pages displaying all the photos of the publication, it includes over 1700 new pictures i.e. 30 new works. A browser CD with English and French keywords to search through the 90 titles is also included in the catalogue.

the eye also presents the winner of the ‘Designers Gallery feature. This includes a creation along with its ‘making of by Lucas Racasse, a French illustrator. ‘Exit aesthetics. Away with refinement. Racasse depicts the world as it really is. Brutal. Inhospitable. Beautiful, an absolute must! Lucas finally shows us how he makes an illustration, using his own and PhotoAltos pictures.
