Advanced Productivity Software To Premiere and Preview New Products at New York Legal Tech

January 16, 2001 - Atlanta, Georgia - Advanced Productivity Software, Inc. (APS) is proud to announce the premiere of DTE( for Microsoft( Outlook(. DTE for Microsoft Outlook will see its debut at the Legal Tech trade show in New York starting January 29, 2001. APS will also preview its new DTE 2001 line of leading timekeeping products. APS will be in booth 2408 on the second level.

DTE for Microsoft Outlook takes the power and flexibility of the industry standard time tracking software DTE and integrates it with the leading email system, Microsoft Outlook. This powerful combination enables timekeepers who use Microsoft Outlook to consistently and accurately track the time spent on reading, replying to, and composing e-mail. The DTE for Microsoft Outlook time entry screen has all the functionality that is available with DTE. When used with DTE, DTE for Microsoft Outlook entries will appear on the timekeeper's calendar on the date the entry was created and these entries can be edited, deleted, released, and unreleased.

"The release of DTE for Microsoft Outlook is very exciting. This software development has been fueled by our continued contact and feedback from our customers and prospects in the legal industry," stated Jim Tharpe, President of APS. "Usage of APS products continues to grow in the legal market and as a result, we quickly react to what our customers need in their practice. As the popularity of DTE has grown, many Attorneys have been asking us to make it work with Outlook email in order to improve their productivity and accuracy in capturing billable time that otherwise might have been overlooked."

APS will also be previewing the upcoming releases of DTE 2001 and DTE 2001 Enterprise Edition, which is based on the Microsoft-SQL technology. DTE is the leading time tracking software program, which tightly integrates with popular billing systems.

For firms interested in attending in-depth product demonstrations, APS has a private suite at the Hilton New York and Towers. There will be an overview session on both Monday January 29 and Tuesday January 30 during the noon break at Legal Tech and lunch will be available. Heads of both development and technical services can also be scheduled to answer any detailed questions by contacting the company directly.
