NEW NETSCAPE 6 COMPATIBILITY

In response to the release of the brand new Netscape 6, Global+ ONLINE has undergone several alterations to make the website more compatible with both Microsoft and Netscape software.

Global+ ONLINE, as a distributor and supporter of the new highly acclaimed Netscape 6 browser, and has a responsibility to users to enable an optimal experience for users of both old an new software.

The most significant change has been to the main navigation bar. The JavaScript which was formerly in place, although easy to use, quick to download, and compatible with both Microsoft IE, and Netscape Navigator 4+ generation browsers, was not compatible with Netscape 6. Taking into account the extraordinary leap in technology to both catch up and overtake the ability?s of Microsoft?s market leading software, and the highly probable future success of the browser, it was considered imperative to put in place a new navigation system compatible with all modern browsers into place.

The new system, a Java applet works in a considerably different manner to the JavaScript, however the interface for the user has hardly changed. The new improved system of navigation downloads faster, allows greater accessibility for users of the website, and promotes a more professional image.

All tests on Global+ ONLINE with Netscape 6 have been completed, at current Global+ ONLINE is 100% Compatible with Netscape 6 browsers with Sun Java 2.

A totally new feature has been added to the existing range of services offered at Global+ ONLINE, this is a Tab which users of Netscape 6 can add to the unique ?My Sidebar? feature of the browser, allowing users to access the Global+ ONLINE Email service, and several other areas of the website from anywhere on the internet.
