FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PORTOGO® INSURANCE PROTECTS TCP/IP

DATE: February 2, 2001

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

PORTOGO® INSURANCE PROTECTS
CONFIDENTIALITY, DELIVERABILITY AND SECURITY
OF INTERNET TRANSMISSIONS.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN / USA, February, 2001 -- Portogo® Inc. announces a new Internet product called INSURITI - that provides governments, businesses and individuals with legal and financial redress if their Internet transmissions are undelivered, lost, misdirected, tampered with or intercepted while in transit. INSURITI Internet Transmission Insurance is the Internets first online risk transfer solution.

With INSURITI insurance, organizations and individuals can establish a value for their Internet data, have it tracked in transit, and receive financial compensation and a means for legal redress if something happens to the data while in cyberspace.

Despite the best security measures -- including data encryption and e-signatures -- Internet transmissions such as electronic trades, funds transfers, bill payments, medical information and legal documents all are vulnerable while being transferred over the Internet.

According to Stephen Cardot, President and CEO of Portogo, "Online risk transfer solutions are part of a balance between the makers and breakers of security products and systems. There is no such thing as absolute security. INSURITI transmission insurance -- technically TCP/IP insurance -- is revolutionary because, for the first time there is financial legal recourse for the inevitable lapses of Internet security products and online communications."

INSURITI provides risk transfer solutions for the exposures addressed by government mandates included in recent legislation and agreements such as the EU/US Safe Harbors Agreement, The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act. INSURITI covers the worlds most sensitive confidential Internet correspondence.

Portogos INSURITI ·patent-pending· process lets clients insure important Internet data and transmissions just as they would insure data sent by conventional mail or courier. Portogo is to write custom Internet transmission insurance policies for government, businesses and individuals. INSURITI will be offered to the insurance industry through a variety of services and licensing options. As of Q4 /2001, individuals will be able to purchase cover on a per-online transmission basis.

Portogo and its Partner Services will also include certified (SRA) Security & Risk Assessments, (IRR) Internet Risk Rating technologies, and Custom Integration consulting services to help clients lower their security risk and increase insurability.

Portogo was founded January 1999, when TwinCity online systems experts along with an Internet marketing /design firm, an investigation /security company, and an insurance/risk firm -- partnered to develop the digital-trust technologies and underwriting solutions that will help "assume Internet risk" thereby promoting a trustworthy and viable online-business medium.

Wendt --Associated Professionals Limited, Inc.- CPCU / CLU / Chartered Property / Casualty Underwriter / Chartered Life Underwriter.
