New York, NY, February 12, 2001…EuroCircle, a casual network for European professionals, is launching its newly enhanced site, EuroCircle.com, on February 15th at Trio, 167 East 33rd street, at 7 pm. The site, aimed at easing the transition for Europeans to a new country and life, will showcase the many professional and social networking resources it offers to its members. The EuroCircle alliance serves as a worldwide umbrella organization that unites, supports and promotes professional Europeans. The organization is a catalyst for creating an environment that consistently generates, finds and provides the tools, access and connections Europeans need to realize their dreams in a new location.

The New York Chapter of EuroCircle is the most popular on-going networking organization for professional Europeans of its kind. Founded in 1998, the organizationâ€s mission has been to provide quality-networking opportunities to its members. Since its inception, the New York Chapter has grown to 5,000 active members.
“Through the eurocircle.com web site, we're building a larger, more effective community. With the advancement of the internet and the support of our members, Europeans can look to each other for everything from career advice to apartment hunting, while creating an incredible support system,” said Ms. Kokkonen, President and Founder of EuroCircle. “We attract dynamic, achievement-oriented Europeans who are interested in expanding their professional and personal horizons and our web site enables them to do just that.”
EuroCircle.com is the most active and dynamic on-line community for Europeans and aims to be a leading on-line portal providing useful information and entertainment to its members. It is a place where ideas, thoughts and information are exchanged freely between members, vendors, companies and external institutions. EuroCircle.com is a virtual “meeting place” without borders that enriches both personal and business experiences for its members.
EuroCircle is a casual network for European professionals with chapters in New York, Boston Chicago and Los Angeles. It has no political, religious or racial affiliations. The purpose of this diverse group is to facilitate both personal and professional interaction as well as growth for its members. EuroCircle also provides an international forum for these professionals through private events and programs, focusing on European cultural, business and entertainment topics. Part of the EuroCircle mission is to provide face-to-face professional and social interaction for European nationals and their counterparts in the host country, enabling a better understanding of each otherâ€s way of life. Realizing that community service develops better citizens, EuroCircle encourages its members to play an active role in their local communities. In every location where it has a chapter, EuroCircle endeavors to promote that locationâ€s potential as a hub for international culture, commerce and tourism.
