Baydon Solutions Appoints Michael Farmer Vice President of Sales Worldwide, Builds U.S. Sales Presence

Boston, Mass. -- February 19, 2001 -- Baydon Solutions, the Dublin-based provider of knowledge delivery and e-learning solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Farmer as Vice President of Sales. Farmer will spearhead Baydons growth in the U.S. by targeting its flagship Assistware® solution at large distributed organizations. This announcement follows the establishment of a U.S. office in Boston, Mass., after a successful market penetration of its Assistware solution across Europe in the past five years.

Farmer has more than three decades of experience in sales and marketing. Most recently, he was Business Development Manager for Satyam Computer Services, a global software provider, where he was in charge of all business activities across four states. Prior to this position, he was Vice President of Marketing at PCI Technologies where he was responsible for all business growth activities relating to strategic marketing and sales.

At the same time, Baydon Solutions has announced the appointment of Jim Thibeau and Pam Bajorek as Business Development Managers. Thibeau, based in Boston, has more than 15 years experience in the education and information management industries. Prior to joining Baydon, Thibeau was practice director at Computer Associates Performance Support Group, where he spearheaded the delivery of solutions to industry-leading companies such as BellSouth and Fidelity Investments. Bajorek, based in Charlotte, NC, joins from Kronos, Inc., a provider of solutions that manage, measure, and improve employee productivity. She has more than a decade of experience in software sales.
