FORTUNE Preview Guide Now Available Online
February 5, 2001 -- Educators can now visit the Web for the free FORTUNE Preview Guide, an indispensable teaching tool that helps educators use FORTUNE Magazine in the classroom.
The FORTUNE Education Program (www.fortuneeducation.com) has posted its previously member-only Preview Guide on its Website for educators interested in using the bi-weekly FORTUNE Magazine in their classroom. Using FORTUNE Magazine in the classroom helps to bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world business practice by providing in-depth coverage that challenges students to think more critically about business issues. Each issue of FORTUNE contains articles that reveal events and happenings in the world of business. Educators and students get the best information from the smartest people in business -- CEOs, consultants, and top business school professors on management theory and practice.
The FORTUNE Preview Guide is a bi-weekly 2-page publication that summarizes key articles in the magazine and helps educators integrate timely editorial content in their classroom. The FORTUNE Preview Guide provides article summaries by subject area along with a Course Connector" that charts how the articles fit into curriculum topics. Educators also will find questions to stimulate classroom discussion and Internet research. Beginning with the February 5, 2001 issue, educators may access the current FORTUNE Preview Guide online by visiting www.fortuneeducation.com.
The FORTUNE Education Program will continue to provide educators and students with access to FORTUNE at the lowest subscription rate available, at $1.15 an issue. Educators who have at least five students subscribe to the publication receive a FREE annual subscription. More details and a subscription form are available at www.fortuneeducation.com.
