INFORMATION:
Street Saint Publications proudly presents The Adventures of Rolo, the first
book in a series of four childrens adventure stories by Lori Ocker. The
series chronicles the life of Rolo, a happy-go-lucky puppy, as he encounters
fellow animals and various perils.
The first book in the series follows Rolo as he ventures away from the
safety of his familys home and gets lost. After a run in with a raccoon, a
haunted house, and circus animals, Rolo finds help in an unexpected friend.
Each chapter features illustrations by Greg Williams, eldest son of the
author.
The Adventures of Rolo teaches children not to be judgmental of others and
the importance of family and friends, while entertaining them. Readers can
download a PDF e-book version or purchase the 58 page print booklet with
four color glossy cover through bookstores and online venues, as well as
www.streetsaint.com.
Lori Ocker was born and raised in Orange County, California; the youngest of
four children. Throughout school, Lori enjoyed writing and literature,
filling her school schedule with journalism, debate and English classes; and
notebooks with poetry. Her first book was a story written in 1980 for her
now 21 year-old son. She has worked in the legal field for 20 years and
currently lives near Los Angeles, California with her husband, author Rick
Ocker (Last Name Ant is also available through Street Saint Publications),
and the youngest two of their three children where she is working on her
latest book.
