Ask TaxMama - 100th Issue full of Free Tax Advice
This Friday, the 100th issue of Ask TaxMama will hit the e-mails.
http://taxmama.com/AskTaxMama - just in time to beat the
debut of the March issue of Inc Magazine, which includes
TaxMama.com among the Best of the Web.
Although this free, weekly publication has evolved slowly, it has
managed to grow quietly by word of mouth for nearly two years.
Now that it has launched, word is spreading rapidly.
It started out as service for my clients, but has been picked up
and quoted or syndicated at various sites on the WWW.
Subscribers include L.A. Times reporters, IRS officials, even the
Taxpayers Advocate, writers, homemakers, students, seniors,
professors, tax professionals, expatriates - all ages, all income levels.
TaxMama.com is finally coming into its own, with a clean
design (not by my hand, what a relief), good navigation,
and a resource center about to debut this month.
TaxMama.com deals with current tax issues and questions.
Sometimes, TaxMama is controversial; sometimes, she convinces
IRS to change their policies; often, she encourages people
to write to legislators and make constructive suggestions,
rather than simply complaining in bars and living rooms.
But, always, TaxMama answers questions from people around
the world who are confused and intimidated by the US
Income Tax Code.
The site is about constructive, sensible solutions to
tax problems and issues. No whining, no tax protesters,
and no outlandish, defraud-the-government schemes.
Please, come visit and use the resources at http://taxmama.com
There are new tax laws about to be written and I am
very concerned that the public isn't being given the whole
picture. Particularly concerning the repeal of the estate tax.
