TMS Inc. Partners With Crystal Microsystems To Become Mid-Michigans First Wireless-Internet Enabled Company.
ALMA, Mich. - February 12, 2001- TMS Incorporated, a third-party provider of eLogistics services based in Alma, Michigan, has partnered with the CMSInternet Division of Crystal Microsystems of Crystal, Michigan, a provider of internet services to the Mid-Michigan area, to provide them with high bandwidth internet access.

Jeremy Sheets has been involved with the computer industry for 19 years. He and his partner, Timothy Bohen founded Crystal MicroSystems in 1994, and then CMSInter.Net in 1997 to address the Internet needs of their customers. Since the inception of CMSInter.Net in 1997, they have grown their coverage area to over 20 cities in the Mid-Michigan area. With a Complete Computing/Internet Solution" offered between the two companies, CMS & CMSInter.Net have been able to rise up and beyond other providers in the area.
David P. Brookhouse, President, TMS Inc.
Dave Brookhouse has been active in transportation for 28 years, working in many capacities within the carrier, shipper and academic areas. He founded Traffic Management Services, Inc. in 1982 as a full service, Third Party Logistics company, that continues to assist small to medium sized shippers. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), and is its Logistics Conference chairman. TIA is the largest Association of its kind in the United States.

Ken Casey has been a software developer for nearly 14 years. His MS-DOS based educational software suite, marketed under the name, SPELLBOUND!, has been used by many thousands worldwide. In 1992, he developed a number of modules for TMS' in-house logistics management software, The S*T*A*R System. He joined TMS permanently as head of the technology department in 1997 with a strong desire to be a part of the revolution which internet technology is bringing to bear on the field of Logistics.
