Internet Service Company Wins "Best Business Idea" Award
Ann Arbor, MI - iNetShelves (www.inetshelves.com), a high technology business solutions provider, was honored with the Best Business Idea of the Year 2000 Award by the New Enterprise Forum. The award was in recognition of a new technology the company has developed that e-commerce enables large retailers, wholesales, distributors, or shopping malls in a matter of hours.
"We are very excited about the award," said iNetShelves President Richard Clements, "it justifies our claims that there is a better business model for e-commerce that produces profits and supports the existing brick and mortar stores."
Unlike any existing product, the iNetShelves software requires little to no upfront fees for the participating stores. It is also transparent to the end user, thus supporting the existing business model being used by the stores. Currently, iNetShelves has a customer based in several areas with a transaction pool of over 3 million orders per year. They are also trying to complete their first round of funding with an eye for going public if market conditions continue to improve.
