JESTER?S?SOMA?S BEST KEPT SECRET
Dealing in Culinary Treasures Worthy of Royalty!
SAN FRANCISCO, CA?As one of the best culinary meccas in the world, San Francisco proudly presents cuisine that is far from a typical hotel restaurant menu. Jester?s Restaurant, located in The Argent Hotel, is the perfect place to enjoy San Francisco cuisine created under the watchful eye of French Master Chef Joel Guillon. With a revamped culinary staff and a brand new menu, French Master Chef Joel Guillon and his team show off their magic for the culinary arts at Jester?s.
Jester?s is a showcase of true international luxury. With its hip, European-nuvo design, Jester?s looks as good as the exotically presented entrees. Guillon taps into his training in France, the Caribbean, Middle East and Africa to combine tastes from around the world with a California cuisine twist.
The L?association des Maitres-Cuisinier de France honored Guillon in 1996 as a "Maitre Cuisinier de France." This title recognizes Guillon as part of an elite and very exclusive company of over 300 of the most famous chefs in the world. It distinguishes him as belonging to a "renowned cultural tradition," and as one whose "professional technique attains a level of high art." Guillon continues this tradition as he artistically presents his Euro-Pacific cuisine.
Guillon?s culinary team includes: Charles Hechinger, restaurant chef, Alyssa Levy, pastry chef, and Pierre Le Clerc, restaurant chef. Hechinger is famed for his contributions at such prestigious restaurants as Alain Rondelli, Boulevard, L?esperance 3 Star Michelin and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Canadian Le Clerc received similar accolades with Four Seasons as well as the exquisite Le Passiflore in Montreal. Levy is being praised as a rising star with her budding talent for the pastry arts. She is one of the youngest and most talented pastry chefs San Francisco has seen in a long time. Together with Guillon, Jester?s diverse culinary team whips up delightful dining influenced by dishes from around the globe.
Jester?s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Specialty items include, Veal Scaloppini with a delicious white port creamy mushroom sauce and fresh basil fettuccine; or the Parmesan Breaded Petrale Sole in a lemon, caper butter sauce served with a Yukon gold potato puree, blue lake beans, and sun-dried tomatoes.
