Students Can Score Big with PT's New Program!

Nashville, TN, March 1, 2001 - PT announced the creation of the Student Partners Program today, which gives student fans the opportunity to earn money and win prizes for something they normally do for free.

Word-of-mouth is one of the most highly effective and cheapest methods of advertising, however, the people that spread the word rarely receive significant compensation for their efforts, but continue to do so anyway. So, in an effort to create a "win-win" relationship, PT developed the Student Partners Program.

The program is very simple and requires no capital investment by the student partners. To participate, you must currently be a high school or college student in the United States. Only one student partner is allowed to participate per school, so that there is no possibility of competition.

Student partners receive a commission on every order placed for PT & The Ghost Notes' music or merchandise from their respective school, even if the partner did not directly sell the item. Direct sales are not required to make money in this program. Simply spreading the word at their school rewards the student partner with commissions when their fellow students go to the Ghost Notes' web site and place an order.

Partners may decide to purchase music or merchandise as samples or for direct sales at a discount, but that is not required. Music samples are provided on MP3.com at no cost, so they can literally start a part-time business with zero investment. However, it is recommended that they purchase a compact disc to ensure that they genuinely want to promote PT's music. Student partners are allowed to stay in the program until June 30th of the year of their graduation.

Prizes will be awarded to the top producers in both high school and college divisions separately. Prizes and details will be announced at a later date, but will definitely include free concerts at the schools with the most fans. The partners from those top schools will also enjoy the chance to meet and dine with the band.
