AeroGen Broadband Announces Wireless "MAN" Deployment in Phoenix, Arizona

Phoenix, Arizona, March 5, 2001 -
AeroGen Broadband announced today that its managed end to end IP wireless Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) will serve businesses across the United States, offering them unmatched flexibility in raising service levels as their bandwidth needs grow.
"Our Wireless MANs are redefining the reach of small businesses," said David Banks, Director Of Business Development for AeroGen. High-speed Internet access, self-provisioning services as well with a host of other services we offer allow smaller companies to stay competitive in todays turbulent market.
AeroGens gigabit wireless MANs networks deliver an unparalleled combination of speed and flexibility to companies. These MANs offer cost effective and simple Ethernet hand-offs and scalability from 256K to 1 Gbps, in any increment the customer desires.
AeroGens services are not only simple and functional for small businesses but because of the Ethernet connection, there is no need to buy the expensive interfaces required for legacy networks. AeroGens services also include, 24x7 network monitoring staff in their on-site NOC.
One of the major industry issues I see today is the slow expansion of telecommunications networks beyond the central business district in most metropolitan areas," said Joe Goodhart Lead Technology consultant on the Scottsdale Technical Center project representing JEMB Realty of New York." One of my primary initiatives is to work with business, government and the service providers in developing telecommunications infrastructure master plans. The AeroGen business plan for broadband wireless Metropolitan Area Networks will add significantly to delivering such a capability to U.S. markets.
We have discussed the potential with several of my clients, including JEMB, the developer of the Scottsdale Technical Center, formerly the Scottsdale Galleria. The ability to provide a parallel RF network, to what will be a major fiber hub, will position the JEMB property as the premier Telecommunications - Internet center in the Scottsdale, Arizona.
I am excited about being part of a new breed of wireless network that offers an incredible amount of value and choices to customers, The answer for any company needing increased bandwidth at any level at an affordable price continues to AeroGens aggressive build out throughout the United States.
