HYPNOTIZER ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF HYPNOTIZER.EDITOR 1.0: INNOVATIVE SOFTWARE COMPANY CREATES FINAL PRODUCT IN WORLDS FIRST COMPLETE INTERACTIVE STREAMING VIDEO SOLUTION

Hypnotizer, a trailblazer in interactive streaming video technology, announced this morning the release of the final version of its authoring tool for interactive streaming videos, hypnotizer.editor. The Editor is part of hypnotizer.suite, which is available now.

hypnotizer.editor allows web designers to overlay any sort of interactive content (banners, buttons, menus, etc.) onto a video frame itself, making possible a whole new sort of media convergence. The software is both easy-to-use (WYSIWYG) and compatible with all streaming video formats (Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and Quicktime). The Editor is the final software of the three that make up hypnotizer.suite to be ready for use. The others are hypnotizer.player, a plug-in to the existing video players which is available for free download on the companys website, and hypnotizer.server, which works alongside the video server to deliver the interactive elements created by hypnotizer.editor. hypnotizer.server is already hosted by Uunet, a major ISP.

Release 1.0 of hypnotizer.editor includes functions that allow designers to import a video background, Add and Modify overlays with a simple click and drag, Add events, Create & Edit scenes and Preview productions. In addition, version 1.0 has several improvements over the Beta version. Among these improvements: a new professional looking graphic interface and a new Publish function that allows designers to publish their creations on the Internet with just one click. Since December 15, the beta version of the Editor has been downloaded by almost 300 web agencies and content providers," said Cyril Leclerc, Product Marketing Director. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from companies who are already using the product. This has enabled us to test and perfect hypnotizer.editor 1.0 while working with our clients on their own new productions."

In addition to these 300 Beta Testers, the company has signed up over 80 Partners -- among them are web agencies and streaming companies like Rare Medium(UK), Wheel(UK), Framfab(Sweden), Unit.net(Swiss), Kamera(Sweden), Resco(Sweden), Lagardere Active Broadband(France) and Perfect Technologies(France).

hypnotizer.editor is available for download on the companys website and can be used for free during a 20-day trial period, after which time it will cost €390. Special promotional offers are also available on the site.
