Businesswoman achievement award for Access Accounting

A special achievement award for the Businesswoman of the Year has been awarded to Liz Kent of Access Accounting Ltd.

The judges of the Businesswoman of the Year event, sponsored by the Institute of Directors proclaimed that Liz was the most charismatic person they had ever met." She has now been invited to attend various IoD events as an after-dinner speaker.

Liz Kent joined Access Accounting as a Receptionist in 1990, at the age of 42. Her role within the company has changed several times since then. She has learned, and then excelled at, all her business roles within the company. She has also won the respect and friendship of the company customers and staff. Today Liz runs the office, manages the administrative staff, and organises numerous company events nationally and internationally, as well as sitting on the board.

Access has grown at an average of 35% over the last five years. This success stems largely from investment in personnel; Access has exceptional people, who produce, support, and market exceptional products. The numerous awards that Access has been nominated for are a testimony to its people.

It is accredited under the Accredited Product Scheme run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Access released its EMU compliant software in 1998. It offers dual based currency, triangulation and the ability to report in home currency, the Euro and in multiple foreign currencies. It achieved BASDA EMU accreditation for Multi-Currency and Triangulation in 1999 -- one of an elite group in the world to receive this accreditation.

Its Payroll package won the PC Pro Excellence Award and it is IMIS accredited.
