DATE: March 16, 2001BODY: The KRC Group, Inc. and PBI Research Systems, Inc. today announce an outsourcing and development agreement for Information Technology Management and Software development for manufacturing and distributors.Under the agreement, The KRC Group, Inc. will perform Information Technology Management and application software development for PBI Research Systems, Inc. The KRC Group, Inc. undertakes the IT management responsibilities as a full turn key outsourcing agreement and will provide all necessary personnel and expertise to develop and manage the GIS (geographic information systems), data warehousing, data mining, business intelligence and custom-developed software used in collecting and building disparate data into data warehouses. These applications will be used in a new level of trend and trade area analyses involving deeper manufacturer/ distributor partnerships than ever-before achieved. Manufacturers will receive detailed sales information from their authorized distributors in one homogeneous datawarehouse with business intelligence and other software on the front end.
