Vital Living Products Names Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse Retailer of the Year -- Donald McLaren Named Retail Sales Representative of the Year

(OTC Bulletin Board: VLPI) d//b//a//American Water Service is pleased to announce that it has named Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse (NYSE: LOW) their Retailer of the Year for 2000. Lowe's has sold the most PurTest(R) products of any retailer and has worked closely with the Company to ensure that their sales staff is knowledgeable in the water treatment/plumbing department.

The Company has also announced that it has named Donald McLaren of Store #471, located in Hagerstown, MD, Retail Sales Representative of the Year. Mr. McLaren has individually sold the most of the Company's PurGuard(R) ultraviolet water treatment disinfection systems, and the Company will present him with a Letter of Appreciation and a plaque to commemorate his achievement.

Mr. Bill Cosner, the Store Manager, will present the award to Donald McLaren on behalf of Vital Living Products, Inc.
