Direct Data Announces Testing of Emergency Plan Room at local high school, with Law Enforcement Agency
March 20, 2001
Cincinnati, Ohio -- Today Direct Data, Inc. (St. Louis, Missouri) announced the release of Emergency Plan Room (EPR). the latest module of DataWEB Reprographic Manager (DWRM), the companys Web-based AEC/construction information management system. This timely component will be unveiled in a school crisis response training exercise conducted by the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office. EPR is ...the next piece of the school safety puzzle," says Ross Shively of Planfile.com, DWRMs exclusive licensee in the Greater Cincinnati area.
This training exercise will be conducted by the Sheriffs Special Response Team (SRT) on Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Moeller High School, 9001 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the Information/Technology Center, Chief Deputy Sean Donovan, Hamilton County Sheriffs Office, Mr. Dan Ledford, Principal, Moeller High School, and Mr. Ross Shively, Planfile.com will speak briefly and address any questions. Immediately following the speakers, the Sheriffs SRT will demonstrate a Quick Action Deployment (QUAD) hallway exercise and a dynamic room entry/clearance exercise. The media will be afforded every opportunity to video/photograph these exercises.
The recent incidents happening in our public schools led us to develop EPR, with the goal of enabling emergency personnel to react quicker and more accurately," says Gavin Harner, President of Direct Data. Demand has grown for faster and safer ways for police and emergency personnel to gain access to public facilities, such as schools and hospitals, in a crisis situation. Unfortunately, this technology has almost become a necessity, and is growing more important with each new occurrence."
Direct Data, Inc., develops data management solutions tailored to specific markets, such as DWRM and DataWEB Asset Manager (DWAM) for the Printing/Publishing industry.
