CDWorks and MySpace Offer Instant Online to CD - Storage Sexier Than Your Parents Walk-In Closet

Dear Editor/Reporter,

I am hoping you might be interested in this serial entrepreneur's digital storage closet biz.

Jeff Starfield used to be Baby Watson Cheesecake, Ruggles Pizza, a Jewelry
Building real estate owner and now duplicates CD's for MySpace, Polaroid,
HBS (he went there), Prentice Hall, DrawBase, Microsoft (then needed disks
delivered to MIT), COMDEX, etc. He is a bricks and mortar and low tech biz
and if you want to compete with him he will sell you the equipment and the blank media. Currently Jeff's biggest customers are MySpace, various advertising agencies and corporate communications offices.

I hope you would consider covering this story about the new status symbol in storage.

Thanks,

Dan Burnstein

Boston - Forget the walk-in closet that wowed our parents - the latest status storage space costs under $10 initially and holds you most precious treasures. A Boston area company, CD\Works has just started creating CD's for the largest online storage company MySpace.com, which claims over 6 million
users. These users can now save their files to a CD in a matter of minutes from
online storage to a physical CD -- thanks to CD\Works.

These digital caretakers are backing up their small business files, Quicken
files, garage band tunes, favorite videos or photographs, and MS-PowerPoint
presentations for safekeeping. In a matter of minutes CDWorks takes the
MySpace downloads and creating a CD which is then immediately sent out in
the mail to the MySpace customers - all 620 Megs of material.

How big is the 620 Megs of space on one CD? Big enough to store the
equivalent of 430 traditional computer floppies, 310,000 pages of your first
novel, or 103,000 songs of your band whose first record is just around the
corner.

The MySpace users get 25 Megs of storage -- more than most consumer
hard drives and after answering a small questionnaire they can get up to 300
Megs of free online storage space can get a backup of their files on a physical
compact disk for an initial price of just under $10. MySpace provides
consumers even larger amounts of space for storage at modest prices and it
provides priority storage for business customers.

has Been making CD's for over 7 years for a wide range of customers ranging
from Harvard Business School - where CEO Jeff Starfield attended -- General
Motors, the Mass Software Council, Magic Hour, Prentice Hall, Key3Media,

CDWorks also duplicates the new 'business card' CD's that are credit card
size and contain about 50 Megs - enough for the typical business presentation.
CDWorks specialty is the rush job for individuals, corporate communications
offices, advertising agencies and just about anyone who wants immediate
copies or backups of their treasures in CD, mini-disk, business card disks and
DVD formats.
