QUICKSILVER INTERACTIVE PRESIDENT BESTOWED TPRA HONORARY LIFE MEMBER AWARD
Dallas -- QuickSilver Interactive Groups President and CEO, Steve R. Lee, APR, was honored as the eighth recipient of Texas Public Relations Associations prestigious Honorary Life Member award at its annual awards banquet held March 3 in Dallas, Texas.
The organizations Board of Directors, comprised of public relations professionals throughout Texas, bestowed this honor on Mr. Lee by unanimous vote according to TPRA President Julie B. Fix, APR.
"During TPRA's 47-year history, the distinction of Life Member has been awarded to only seven individuals, all noted for giving countless hours and great dedication to the profession and the association," said Fix. "It is fitting that Steve be the eighth member of this exclusive group. He is a past president who has continued to serve TPRA throughout the 16 years he has been out of office, most recently taking on the association as a pro bono client to design and maintain our Web site (www.tpra.com). He has literally 'pulled us into the 21st Century, and we could think of no better way to honor that accomplishment than by naming Steve a Life Member."
Lee is a past president of TPRA; former chairman of the Public Relations Foundation of Texas; a recipient of numerous Best of Texas and Silver Spur awards; a past member of the PRSA National Accreditation Board; and a Golden Spur recipient -- TPRAs highest recognition for member service.
