DEATH PENALTY RESOURCES WEB PAGE UPDATED TO INCLUDE SPECIAL SECTIONS FOR STATES WHERE DEATH PENALTY LEGISLATION IS PENDING.

SILVER SPRINGS, FLORIDA - Mar. 26, 2001 -
THE PUBLIC CAUSE NETWORK (TPCN) has
updated its Death Penalty Page by including special sections for those states that have legislation related to the Death Penalty pending. The sections include an over-view of the pending legislation, and links to contact the State's Legislators and Governor so that individuals can easily make their views known to their elected representatives.

Links to the Chicago Tribune's investigative and special reports about wrongful convictions in murder cases across the nation have also been added.

The page continues to provide arguments for and against the Death Penalty via links to other web sites. Although the page also gives TPCN's own 10 reasons why the penalty should be abolished, the primary objective of the page is to help visitors make up their own mind about the issue.

Other links are provided to Death Penalty Web Directories, and D-P status by country and state (indluding the number of executions) pages.
