American Megatrends Inc. Announces the Release of AMIDiag 6.11
ATLANTA (Monday, March 26, 2001) American Megatrends Inc. (AMI), the leader in storage and computing innovations worldwide, today announced the release of AMIDiag® 6.11, the latest version of the industry standard diagnostic software solution.
AMIDiag 6.11, the latest version of AMIs industry standard diagnostic software, provides enhancements to AMIDiag 6.0 including CPU support for Intel®, AMD® and Cyrix® with virtually no speed limitations. Other enhancements include testing for ACPI, SMBus and USB mass storage devices, enhanced video, serial and parallel port tests, floppy disk diagnostics and enhanced memory, including HDD tests for up to UDMA 100. An upgrade for all current AMIDiag 6.0 customers is available on www.ami.com for $9.95 USD.

AMIDiag 6.11 offers support for non-legacy IDE controllers as well as support for multiple IDE controllers. AMIDiag 6.11 offers complete system information including I/O ports, IRQs, DMAs, network details, video details, multimedia and SCSI.
As evidenced in this latest version of AMIDiag, AMI continues to offer the industry leading diagnostic software solution. AMIDiag software solutions for DOS and Windows are Windows® ME enabled. AMIDiag 6.11 is the only diagnostic software that runs in DOS mode, which is capable of running on a Windows ME system without the need for a DOS floppy.
