"Subscribe To Me": SwapSmarts.com launches "Expert Subscription" Service

Newcastle, WA, March 28, 2001 - SwapSmarts, the second generation ask-the-expert community, announced the addition of Subscription Services. Subscription Services allow members to subscribe to an expert, and pay for advice not by question, but by subscription.

"Periodicals, cable television and web sites have always had a subscription model" says Steve Brown, our COO. "We are just extending that model to the knowledge in our experts brain. Our new service allows you to subscribe to an expert, in the same way you would subscribe to a magazine"

Typically ask-the-expert sites feature pay per question, pay per project or free answers. Subscriptions allow members to buy answers over a period of time from an expert.

Subscription services are available at SwapSmarts now, and are enabled by experts on an individual basis.

About SwapSmarts

SwapSmarts offers an online community where knowledge is traded for expert advice, cash, gifts or charitable donations. Transactions are fully secure and private, answers can be sold for as little as 10 cents each, and SwapSmarts features expert subscriptions. SwapSmarts is ideal for moonlighters, knowledge workers, consultants, and any other profession whose service is a transfer of knowledge for free or a fee.
