Woodbridge, VA – Couples across America will marry in June, and divorce sometime later. Unless they ask some hard questions before taking the step of marriage, that step could be a stumble and the number of couples divorcing will rise dramatically above those staying married.

Author Susan S. Levine wrote her new book, Before You Marry: Ask The Tough Questions” to provide assistance for couples in all stages of a relationship – engaged, serious, or just thinking about marriage – and help them make the right choice about their future partner. She explains how men and women can define their own expectations of marriage and what each partner expects of the other. She lists the false assumptions many people have about marriage – or their partners – based upon questions left unanswered before marriage. Her personal experience shows how important it is to ask the important questions before marriage, due to the high level of commitment involved.

Â“When we marry, we are making an investment in our lives,” Levine says. “It is vital to make sure we are making the best possible choice to achieve maximum return on that investment.”

In today’s fast-paced environment individuals and couples are hungry for advice that will keep their relationships together and their marriages out of divorce court. Many experts offer them hope. But when couples are about to venture into the marital wilderness, they could often benefit more from the experiences of a savvy survivor.

Â“Bringing your ideas, expectations and any doubts you have about marriage into the open could make the difference between a happy marriage or a miserable one that possibly was never meant to be,”     Levine firmly states. “I only wish I had done the same.”
