Digitune Licenses XSVoice Technology to Stream Live Music

Nashville, Tenn. -- [April 3, 2001] -- Digitune announces the formation of a licensing arrangement with XSVoice to stream live music to wireless devices. Digitune has developed proprietary software to create The Virtual Jukebox(TM), a portal that allows wireless device users to select and receive live digital radio broadcasts and individual music tracks by artist, genre, or song title. Digitune enters this license agreement with XSVoice to utilize their Streaming Wireless Internet Gateway (SWInG(TM)) technology. SWInG(TM) is an open platform that delivers live audio from the Internet to any wireless device. SWInG's open platform allows Digitune to further customize its offering to their subscribers.

    Users of The Virtual Jukebox(TM) are able to access live audio without having to go through their wireless service provider. Users have the ability to customize their own "Jukebox" based on individual preferences, choosing from a catalog of hundreds if not thousands of selections from multiple genres.

    Digitune anticipates future releases of The Virtual Jukebox(TM) to include live concert performances, information regarding product availability at local merchants, audio books and magazines, voice-activated portal sharing and ticket sales.
