PMG Continues Special Olympics Partnership As Summer Games Approach

ATLANTA: Atlanta E-Solutions firm PMG.net is continuing its alliance with Special Olympics Georgia by hosting an updated website, just in time to promote the Summer Games.

PMG began its association with Special Olympics of Georgia nearly three years ago when they developed the organizations original web presence. PMG President Scott M. Johnson became personally involved with Special Olympics, recruiting volunteers and serving as a presenter for the Summer Games awards ceremonies.

PMG worked with Special Olympics Director of Sales and Public Relations John Sherwood to successfully provide a lifeline for the new site in time for this Summers games, scheduled to take place on the Emory University Campus June 1, 2 and 3. Nearly 2,000 athletes will participate in this years 23 events.

The website (www.specialolympicsga.org) offers history about the Special Olympics organization as well as information about events, registration, volunteer opportunities, donations, jobs and internships.

Special Olympics of Georgia celebrated their 30 Year Anniversary last year. The non-profit organization provides year-round sports training and athletic events to children and adults with mental retardation and has a volunteer base of 15,000 and growing.
