Reichhold Announces Adhesives Price Increase

Research Triangle Park, NC, (March 15, 2001) -- Reichhold, Inc., a specialty chemical company based in Research Triangle Park, NC, announced today a price increase within their Formulated Adhesive Strategic Business Unit effective April 1, 2001.

Prices are increasing an average of four to eight percent for water-based adhesives and thermoplastic hot melts. Products affected are marketed under the Swift® Adhesives brand name.

The rapidly rising costs of raw materials, freight and energy are driving this increase.
