Maffettone also worked with the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for 9 years in a variety of positions including New Media Technology Manager and Project Manager for Interactive Services. In this position, Maffettone played a key role in the launch of many early stage Internet classified products for the employment, real estate and automobile sections.
