my-channels releases Nirvana & Matrix

my-channels are pleased to announce the release of its java Middleware solutions components Nirvana and Matrix, the enabling technologies for Middleware 4 Middleware.

Nirvana is a Java based message oriented middleware package supporting the publish subscribe model. It supports message persistence and XML DOM Documents as well as straight TCP communications and HTTP/HTTPS tunnelling. Nirvana supports a federated namespace and instances can be joined together.

Matrix is a connector framework providing "out of the box" connectors for most commonly used middleware products. Matrix supports a "many 2 many" configuration in a single instance and allows the user to define transactions that define relationships between source and destination systems.

Version 1.0 for Nirvana and Matrix provides:

1) New nJMS API for Nirvana providing JMS API access

2) COM interface for Nirvana

3) Transactional Morphs (Content Transformation) with Matrix

4) Major performance improvements for both Nirvana & Matrix. Nirvana benchmark results available at site. Nirvana provides one of the fastest pure Java message oriented middleware products available.

5) Nirvana now runs on smaller memory footprints through Dynamic Memory Configuration, the server configures its profile based on the available memory at run time. The Nirvana server and client can be used on Personal Java. A download is available for WINCE machines.

6) New Talarian SmartSockets conduit available for Matrix.

7) Improved HTTP transport driver

8) Nirvana's namespace now provides the ability for remote Nirvana realms to be mounted within a local servers naming context. Client redirection is automatically handled by the server instances.

Plus many many other improvements.

About my-channels.

My-channels is the complete solution suite for facilitating and driving global technology integration at the application and enterprise levels.

My-channels solutions broker transactions between organizations using either private networks or the Internet. The my-channels technologies Nirvana and Matrix take existing technologies a quantum step forward in resolving the connectivity issues that have hindered integration and the achievement of commercially viable and reliable communications within and between organizations.

The breakthrough integration functionality offered by the my-channels technologies Nirvana and Matrix has evolved over the last two years. This has been driven by feedback from our many early access users and pilot customers. The early access and developer editions were initially vended from PCB Systems website. With the official launch of the production releases the technologies now fall under the my-channels "middleware 4 middleware" branding. The my-channels solution has been developed by a team of recognized EAI experts from the financial services arena.

The driving force behind my-channels was the lack of a complete integration solution. The my-channels team were uniquely positioned to identify the problems and build a comprehensive technology solution that overcame them, one that allows real B2B integration without imposing infrastructure constraints on any of the partners in an integration effort.
