dB Masters Re-Opens Home Recording Information Portal at dbmasters.net

Early last week the audio production company, dB Masters, moved it's home recording information portal, Home Recording Central, back to the dB Masters server. This portal, frequented by many thousand indie music artists each month, is back home.

Minneapolis, MN - May 28, 2001 - Early last week the audio production company, dB Masters, moved it's home recording information portal, Home Recording Central, back to the dB Masters server. This portal, frequented by many thousand indie music artists each month, is back home.

"This was a necessary move to facilitate the growth of this portal.", said Dan Ball, owner and operator of dB Masters, "The website had outgrown it's platform and bandwidth allocations of the previous server and was in need of serious technological upgrades to continue at this pace."

"We are looking forward to moving forward on this new platform, with all this great new technology at our disposal," said Paul Labarre, contributor to Home Recording Central and owner/engineer of PigPen Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota, "this has been a great resource for home recording enthusiasts all over the world, and we want to continue to do so."

"What started as an experiment", Ball said of Home Recording Central, "spun totally out of control in it's popularity, and now it's up to Paul (Labarre) and I to keep it going, we made a promise to the indie community to provide a portal, and we are not going to go back on that!"
