Rainforest Tea launches The Medicinal Teas From The Rainforest
Rainforest Tea announced today it will be launching its first range of medicinal herbal teas from the rainforest of Costa Rica. The four products are: Menstruation Tea, Head Comfort Tea, Stressless Tea and Cold Comfort Tea.
The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and is headed by two partners: Mr Tej Kullar and Mr Leo Commandeur. Rainforest Tea president Mr Tej Kullar commented on this development. Rainforest Tea was launched with the aim of providing natural herbal tea remedies for everyday ailments. We are pleased to announce our first range of products, which are uniquely single plant and not blended like our competitors. They will be launched to the market in Las Vegas at the natural foods trade show early June. We are looking forward to developing long term relationships with distributors and retailers in North America."
The company name is a testament of the importance it places on ecology. Mr Kullar explains. Rainforest Tea has created the Rainforest Tea Trust which will provide funding to the poor farmers of Costa Rica that helped nurture and grow the leaves for our products. A percentage of each product sold is placed in a trust and the funds are annually dispersed for worthwhile causes such as: the purchase of capital equipment for farmers, seeds for crops and our long term aim of purchasing rainforest land to prevent deforestation."
