Largest IT company in Yugoslavia to resell Scala software and deliver high-quality implementation services and support to global Scala users
London, 19 June 2001: Scala Business Solutions partners with Informatika, the largest systems integrator in Yugoslavia, to extend its geographical presence and provide local support to its global customers with installations in the area. Scala currently has installations in more than 100 countries.
Under the agreement Informatika will resell and implement Scala 5.1 in Yugoslavia. Scala 5.1, the fully-integrated suite of e-business management software for managing business processes is available in more than 30 languages. Scala 5.1 includes local legal requirements for the Central and Eastern European region and Informatika will work together with Scala to translate the software into Serbian. This opens up a new market for Scala, who already has eight installations in the area.
We have been helping companies of all sizes in this area to maximise their IT investments for over 25 years," said Srdjan Gazevic, Senior Consultant for Informatika. We are delighted to be working together with Scala and hope that the combination will bring added quality to our offerings. Local business knowledge is essential to success in economic areas such as Yugoslavia and we understand that theres more than just language issues that need serious consideration, you have to consider the culture, business processes, taxes, regulations, competitive environments, legal requirements and so on."
Informatika is the type of partner that both our global and local customers will value," said Ota Kulhanek, Regional Director Indirect Channels, Scala Central and Eastern Europe. Global companies expanding in this region demand high-quality software coupled with consistent implementation and support services. We believe that Informatika can provide this level of efficiency as they have proven to us that their experience and knowledge of local business requirements, together with focused customer services, will give our global and local customers the advantages they need to stay competitive and, in turn, create added value for their customers."
