A Walking, Talking Trophy ?????
Family Entertainment - Summer Press Release
TrophyMan, who has been living in a dusty box in the attic, has come out of retirement to teach kids the basics of sports (probably to earn some money and move into some AC). This great new instructional video is the cutting edge in both entertainment and sports development. Recent studies have shown that kids are just not being taught the basics, so TrophyManÔ has come to save the day!
The Sports Learning Company has coaxed Fred P. into a contract and is developing additional videos focused on baseball, basketball, and football, which will be released in the near future. We want the TrophyMan series to be a name brand parents and kids can trust," commented TrophyMans agent and S.L. Company president Tom Guleff. With over 6.3 million youth soccer players, not to mention all the other young athletes; parents and teachers are all looking for help on the Basics. Trusting TrophyMan is easy. He puts the emphasis on the basics: Fair Play and Practice.
After meeting with Fred P., our team of writers, coaches, and kids produced a cool video, unlike any other. Of course, Fred is not an animated cartoon, but is a real life trophy that is only 6 inches tall!" Tom Guleff says, We wanted a video that kids could watch for fun, as well as a video Mom could watch to help learn some basic drills and skills to help teach their child."
This new video has a new concept too, it starts with a storyline where you meet TrophyMan and kids who play soccer. One of the kids, Joey, is not very good but with TrophyMans help and some practice, we see Joey helping the team to victory. Not by scoring the winning goal but, getting the big ASSIST! The second part of the video focuses on fundamental skill development. Two great college athletes teach this part. Both have won 2 National High School Champion Soccer Titles and are energetic and easy to understand throughout the video. Perfect to show kids what can happen if you practice and play fair! They talk a lot about what it takes to make it to the next level: Teamwork, Fair Play, Practice, Clean Living and most of all having Fun!
