Invasion of logo-imprinted glassware in the food and beverage venues at major airports nationwide provides an unusually high exposure vehicle for businesses to get their name out.
Denver, CO ? June 27, 2001 ? BevRage Media, the drink coaster advertising company, announces the arrival on July 2nd, 2001 of DrinkAdsTM. These custom printed glasses featuring companies looking for a unique presence to be in front of the upscale traveler, and eventually will be distributed into 70+ airports here in the US.
DrinkAdsTM, has signed Yahoo! as a client for the next two months in all three of the NYC International Airports and a few other scattered airports across the country. "Our Pint Glass Advertising will offer the upscale traveler about 20 minutes of impressions while someone waits for their flight", says Michael Dent, President of Denver based BevRage Media.
"Granted each glass will not get the same exposure as an airport billboard, the DrinkAdsTM complement billboards to give a one/two knockout punch. In fact, for the price of one billboard, our clients can receive enough glasses to cover an entire airport or potentially a few airports. Each glass in each airport restaurant could potentially hit 30 ? 40 travelers in one day. Our testing of this program with Yahoo! is a two-month campaign with the glasses being replaced and/or given to the travelers as a souvenir after 30 days of exposure. That's up to 30 days per glass with up to 1000 consumers viewing a 20-minute Yahoo! presentation."
BevRage Media is working in conjunction with HMS Host to test out this new advertising vehicle. If all goes well companies will have the opportunity to mass market their name in most airports along with having a presence in 90% of the top 20 markets.
