EHC Signs Licensing Agreement With Löher Lift & Escalators in Turkey.

Baesweiler, Germany --June 15, 2001-- Escalator Handrail GmbH has just signed a new licensing agreement with Löher Lift & Escalators in Izmir, Turkey.

Löher Lifts and Escalators is a family run business that has been in existence since 1967. They are among the top Lift Manufacturers for the Turkish market and are currently working on the development of an escalator to expand their product offering. In addition to purchasing handrails for their new escalators they will also service the current escalator market with handrail and field splicing and repair services.

The lift industry in Turkey is growing at an increasing rate. EHC recently attended a trade show in Dubai, where many of the attendees were from Turkey.

After visiting EHCs Corporate Head office in Canada, EHCs the facility in Shanghai, China and the Baesweiler, Germany facilities , Löher Lifts has selected NT2000 handrails for their new escalators.

NT2000 escalator handrails involve new materials, new methods, and a new production process. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
