Baby Corner Expands Its Publishing Business With Launch of Babymag Magazine -- the first print magazine published by an online parenting website.

Online publishing company, Baby Corner, unveiled Babymag magazine today, a print publication aimed to capture the attention of the offline pregnancy and parenting community.

Baby Corner expands its online publishing business by tapping into the ever-growing parenting population offline. Babymag will be distributed on a subscription-based program to the parenting community through online subscriptions, doctors offices, and hospital maternity wards throughout the US and Canada.

Our mission is to provide a personal approach to magazine publishing, by offering expectant and new parents with a magazine that takes them through pregnancy and the first year of their babys life," says Baby Corner President, Scott Geiger. Instead of a magazine covering a broad range of topics that readers might be interested in, Babymag will concentrate on just pregnancy and the first year. Plans are in the works for a chain of magazines including Toddlermag, Fertilitymag, Childmag, and Familymag, so that we may cover specific topics for each stage of parenting."

The cover of the first issue depicts creativity and warmth with a photograph of a pregnant woman massaging her enlarged belly. Using creative design techniques, Babymag is one-of-a-kind. Babymag covers are designed with simplicity in mind. The premier issue will highlight:

· Interview With the Doc" takes readers on a question-by-question journey in finding the perfect prenatal care.

· In Weaning from the Breast", well take the reader through the methods of mom-led and baby-led" weaning

· The Costs of getting pregnant. Well take a look at how much a couple should save if they are thinking of becoming pregnant.

· New mom hairstyles" will show a new mom how she can perk up her mom-look, and create a new style that just for her.

· Organizing the Nursery, will get new parents organized for the first few weeks at home with baby.

Babymag magazine will be distributed every other month by Baby Corner, with an initial circulation of 15,000. A one-year subscription will be priced at $15 for non-members, and $13.50 for members. The First issue is scheduled to arrive September 15, 2001.
