Buffalo, N.Y. -- AMF has re-launched www.TheComputerConsultant.com, devoted to serving both businesses and end users in locating computer help when they need it. The site features a comprehensive search engine allowing users to locate an IT/computer professional based on skills, location, description of services, or any combination of the above -- all for absolutely no cost*. In the latest update of the site, the search method has been significantly enhanced to find highly accurate results based on keyword, skill, or location relevance. Additionally, TheComputerConsultant.com now welcomes recruiters and employers to the site to post their job openings, contracts, or projects. TheComputerConsultant.com is proud to continue to provide all of these services at no cost.

TheComputerConsultant.com's powerful search engine can comb through over 70 unique skill sets and return a listing of IT professionals that possess the skills that are needed. Just about every technical skill is included on the site -- from management to technical public speaking to e-commerce and programming in various languages is represented on the site. Each IT professional has their own profile on the site complete with contact information, web sites and e-mail addresses, as well as a series of keywords and a description of their company's services. Additionally, every professional listed on the site has a unique rating on a scale from one to five, five being the best. Using specialized technology, only one vote per professional is allowed per user (preventing fraudulent ratings). Thus, every listing has a rating based on customer or employer experiences, and those professionals who work the hardest to maintain these ratings will gain the most business.
Companies and recruiters looking for talent can use the search engine on the site to locate quality professionals to fill their job or project openings or to work by contract. Employers can also post job openings for free and optionally e-mail targeted professionals based on skill being sought and/or location. Posted jobs or projects remain available for any site visitor to view and will provide employers with the additional exposure they need to fill their jobs quickly.
TheComputerConsultant.com was launched because the folks at AMF were alarmed at the number of people regularly coming to them that have been misguided or blatantly ripped off by so-called computer consultants and IT professionals. Thus, AMF created a web site showcasing consultants with specialized skills in order to provide quality consulting and computing services to the general public and businesses. The online IT professional database and search engine at TheComputerConsultant.com makes it easy for potential customers to find a computer expert based on skills, type of work, or location.
Finally, TheComputerConsultant.com is offering FREE listings to any computer consultants, software designers, web designers, and other IT or computer professionals or firms for a limited time. Consultants can add their own listing 24 hours a day 7 days a week directly from http://www.TheComputerConsultant.com/add.html. TheComputerConsultant.com is also offering FREE listings to recruiters and companies looking for IT talent to fill their openings. Companies and recruiters can add their listing at no charge at any time from http://www.TheComputerConsultant.com/project.html.
