Caring for an aging parent or loved one can be overwhelming. Initially designed for Visiting Angels staff, the course is also being offering to the general public. Learn what caregivers and families need to know when taking care of a loved one by attending a Caring for the Caregiver" training session by Visiting Angels.

Training for General Public
Visiting Angels, providing non-medical, living assistance and companion service for seniors -allowing them to stay in their home longer and with a greater quality of life, recently announced they will be holding Caregiver Training Sessions for their employees and the general public.

Caring for the Caregiver" training sessions will be held at the Visiting Angels facility located at Alden Crossing Office Park, 475 School Street, Suite 15 in Marshfield, MA. For dates or more information, please call (781) 834-6355.

Caring for the Caregiver
Caregivers and families of the elderly and others are all welcome to attend the Visiting Angels Caregiver Training Sessions. The parameters of this current training session will include topics such as:

·   How to Care for the Caregiver (ensuring that caregivers take care of themselves while caring for someone, i.e., stress reduction, time management)
·   Developing Positive Relationships
·   Emergency Procedures
·   Safety in the Home Tips

A question and answer session will be held at the end of the training session.

There are many aging parents and loved ones that do not need to be in a nursing home or institution, but do need a little help on a daily basis.
