SEARCH FOR SIMPLER SITE-ANALYSIS PROCESS LEADS TO NEW COMPANY

TerraGraphix Inc. Creates Customized Aerial Photography, Demographic and Mapping Books for Commercial Real Estate, Engineering and Related Segments.

Indianapolis - Twelve months ago, Michael Good was a frustrated site selection strategist. Good spent most of his time arduously assembling aerial photographs of specific intersections or parcels of land in markets across the country, combining the photographs with demographic profiles to create highly specialized maps for the retail clients who were considering building stores on the sites being offered by Goods employer. More often than not, the photographs would have to be taken repeatedly and each map custom made. Good became determined to find a better way.
The result is TerraGraphiX Inc., an ambitious effort to revolutionize the way commercial developers, brokerage firms and property owners evaluate their sites and market those sites to prospective tenants. Good recently formed TerraGraphiX Inc. with Chairman and CEO Todd Wood, a former Microsoft data base design and intelligence systems expert. Together with their staff of twelve employees, TerraGraphix will aid brokers with collecting and packaging the site information necessary to market parcels of land in Indianapolis and across the country.
Every corner, every block, every neighborhood, every market has a story to tell. Our mission is to package that story and deliver it to the commercial real estate community in the most efficient way." Wood says. Our photo books are efficient, comprehensive, and easy to use."

Brokers will be the first to embrace this concept." Good explained. The books are made to order for them. The Indianapolis book, for example, provides an up-to-date depiction of more than 1,800 square miles in the eight-county metropolitan area. Each of these segments is a four-by-six mile square. Photos of these segments are accompanied by detailed information regarding population, income, race, education, total households, number and types of businesses and residential growth patterns. The books are updated annually. Secondly, we offer the ability to create customized presentation books in 72 hours or less that reflect the specific needs of a particular client or situation."
While the photo books will remove much of the tedious research work for the commercial broker, the books will also assist financial institutions, law firms, developers, retail tenants and appraisers.
The photo books are the first products available from TerraGraphiX Inc. but the group has not limited its vision to this medium. Plans are underway to launch three new products before the end of the year in Indianapolis and surrounding markets. A pair of CD products due out in August will make the photo books data fully customizable to fit the diverse needs of TerraGraphiX clients. They will allow brokers to have full zoom capability, manipulate data, print, export, and view specific demographic information. Soon to follow is a variety of web and wireless services that will take site selection to a whole new technological level.
