Long Island Native Bob Moulton Named Top Tri-State Area Mortgage Broker and Fifth in the U.S. by Broker Magazine

Nationally-published Broker Magazine names Robert Moulton, President of Americana Mortgage Group, Manhasset, top NY/NJ/CT area broker, and fifth highest mortgage originator in the nation for the year 2000.

Manhasset, New York: Broker Magazine recently named Robert Moulton, President of Americana Mortgage Group, Manhasset, the fifth highest mortgage originator in the nation, with volume for the year 2000 exceeding $94 million. Mr. Moulton was the only mortgage broker in the New York tri-state area cited in the June/July edition of the magazine.

Robert (Bob) Moulton founded Americana Mortgage Group in 1996, offering residential financial services to the tri-state area. Under his leadership, the firm quickly achieved exponential growth, and within two years was ranked first in jumbo mortgage production, and in the top five among Long Island brokerages in a Newsday-published listing provided by the New York State Department of Banking. In 1999, Americana Mortgage Group extended their reach to the World Wide Web by launching an interactive website, www.americanamortgage.com, which includes on-line mortgage application capability.

Mr. Moulton has been a resident of Manhasset for the past 20 years. He holds a BS in accounting and an MBA in Finance. Prior to starting Americana Mortgage Group, he spent 20 years working in the financial services industry for such companies as Citibank, MasterCard International, Dun & Bradstreet and Banker's Trust Company. His community involvement includes his service as past President of Manhasset Rotary Club, and past Deputy Grand Knight of Manhasset Knights of Columbus. He is a Rotary International/Paul Harris Fellow, coach for the Manhasset Baseball League, and Vice President of the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce.
