CR Music is proud to announce that CCMA artists, "The Bolsters", will
be joining Carolyn Richards as special guests at her "Country Fun Show"
in Marion, Ohio on October 6. David & Lawnie Kay Bolster will be providing
their own brand of entertainment during this event to be held at the Palace
Theatre, located downtown at 276 W. Center Street. Aside from singing their
own music, the two perform a skit of their own and have a drumming exhibition
that is guaranteed to knock your socks off!
Lawnie Kay is a national and international charting recording artist. Her song,
"That Light In Your Eye" went to number 19 in Europe and 50 in America and
stayed on the American chart for 6 months. Her latest song, "He Is The Key
To The Kingdom" charted in Europe at 20 and is right now at 45 in the States.
She released a beautiful song to radio just in time for Mother's Day this year,
dedicated to women everywhere, called "Women! Of Significance" which
received HEAVY airplay on radio stations across America and Europe.
Lawnie Kay has two christian country music CD's to her credit. The first
"He Hung The Moon" consists of primarily cover songs and was produced
by her husband, David, in 1998. The second was produced late last year in
Nashville by Gene Higgins, President of the Christian Country Music
Association and HMG-Nashville. Titled "Love Never Fails", this album
primarily features songs written and performed by Lawnie Kay. David appears
as a duet partner in two songs and also performs his own songwriting effort,
"I Shall Not Die".
David & Lawnie Kay live in Peshastin, Washington with their two children
when they are not on the road performing at churches and gospel shows
around the United States. This year their tour included Ohio during the
month of October, and they were happy to say yes when Carolyn invited
them to appear as special guests at her show.
Carolyn Richards, a resident of Veto, Ohio has been performing her Country
Fun Show at theatres, fairs, and other events in Ohio and surrounding states
for the past two years. Prior to that, her "Last Chance Band" performed at a
