TransAtlantic Internet Dialogue On Terrorist Attacks
Information about a unique TransAtlantic internet discussion on the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, among citizens of the US and European Union. Sponsored by Politalk in the US and Europe 2020 in the EU.
ST. PAUL, USA / PARIS, FRANCE - September 25, 2001: Effects of the Sept 11th terrorist attacks on New York and Washington DC were felt around the world. Beginning on Tuesday, September 25, internet users across the US will have the opportunity to participate in a highly structured and moderated e-mail discussion with concerned citizens of the European Union, in a unique internet event. This internet discussion, being organized by Politalk and the TransAtlantic Information Exchange Service (TIES), will address the causes, impact, and potential responses to the horrific attack.
This moderated discussion will include citizens, activists, journalist, and academics from across North America and Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions of each other in a moderated and structured environment. Everyone is welcome.
