Brashly confident and self-assured, RAZOR MAGAZINE celebrates its one-year anniversary with its October/November issue, hitting newsstands on October 1st. Tom Green makes his writing debut in the magazine, which in its first year has rapidly set itself apart from competing mens lifestyle magazines with a fresh approach to covering a wide range of topics including fashion, politics, travel, music, sports, technology, celebrity and pop culture.
The special one year anniversary issue features the ramblings of Ted Nugent, an in-depth look at the enduring mystique of Howard Hughes, an exclusive, revealing interview with Sammy Hagar, and profiles and pictorials of fascinating women that men want to know about. The magazine also talks to some of todays hottest male and female personalities to find out what makes a real man, rediscovers the Martini, examines super success stories, fine dining, the ten best trance clubs across the country, and much more.
The issue defines the magazine as a higher-brow approach to the mens lifestyle genre. "When we launched Razor one year ago we were asked why we would commit commercial suicide by publishing a start-up in the most competitive genre on the newsstands," says Publisher Richard Botto. "As men, we knew that the competition wasnt as severe as it was made out to be. The reality is that there are many 'so-called mens lifestyle rags out there, but most of them are aimed at little boys, rather than real men."
RAZOR is for those who strive to go faster, farther and higher than the average man and reaches an international audience of over 600,000 readers. The magazine caters to young, professional men who have achieved a level of success but are still open to new ideas, but also boasts a female readership of 17% and climbing. RAZOR is currently the fastest growing mens lifestyle publication in North America.
Editor Craig Vasiloff and Publisher Richard Botto have positioned RAZOR to redefine the mens lifestyle genre and create a new benchmark against which all future publications are measured. Razor's corporate office is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona with editorial offices in Toronto, Onatrio.
Razor Magazine is donating 25% of subscription sales to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund until further notice.
